It was such a treat to get to work with Miss H. the other day to make these Stevensville boudoir photos as a gift for her husband, and as a gift for herself as well. (Also, thank you again, H, for being so gracious and allowing me to share a few images on the blog!) I met her at her home and, wouldn't you know it, we found a perfect little nook with seriously gorgeous light to work with too! I can't emphasize enough how fun and special these boudoir sessions are - I love being able to help women see themselves as they truly are - beautiful inside and out. Miss S. :: Missoula Boudoir Pictures
I can't emphasize enough just how fun it was to make Miss S.'s Missoula boudoir pictures, as a gift to her husband AND herself (yay for being strong, beautiful women!). She was so full of energy and excitement and fantastic ideas, and I swear, we giggled our way through most of her session, which is always, always a blast! S incorporated lights into her session, all sorts of great outfits - both casual and sensual - and I kid you not, we were giddy thinking about how awesome of a surprise gift this was going to be. I receive questions about protecting your digital files often enough that I figured it was worth writing a post to tell you about the ways in which I keep my data safe. The number one thing to realize when it comes to digital files and data is that wherever you're storing it, that storage option (if it's mechanical) WILL FAIL. At some point. It might fail way down the road, or it might fail tomorrow, but it will indeed fail. And even if your mechanical storage option doesn't fail, what if your house floods, or it burns down to the ground, or the Millennium Falcon mistakenly uses your roof as an (unfortunate) landing pad*, or your roommate ...
