After having such a wonderful time photographing Janelle and Jamie’s engagement session here in Missoula (complete with their adorable pup, Zepley!), I knew their wedding day would be every bit as delightful. Their Coeur d’Alene Resort Wedding in Coeur d’Alene Idaho took place on a gorgeous late summer day – the sun was shining, the lake sparkled for us, and everyone was all smiles getting ready to see two of their favorite people pledge their love to one another.

Janelle flashed everyone a megawatt smile as she walked, beaming, down the aisle with her father, towards her soon-to-be husband, Jamie. The lake and mountains were a beautiful backdrop to their ceremony, which was filled with smiles and laughter, and soon Janelle and Jamie got to seal it all with a kiss, and walk down the aisle again, this time as beyond-happy newlyweds.

Guests meandered to the reception, took in the views from the terrace and had a good time mingling and chatting before everyone was served a delicious dinner.

As the sun slid lower in the sky, Janelle, Jamie and I raced out to the lake, laughing all the way, to make some sunset photos for the two of them. And Coeur d’Alene certainly did not disappoint! What a beautiful evening!

We rejoined everyone to begin toasts (which were fun and had everyone laughing), and soon it was time to get the dancing started (as well as trips to the ice cream sundae bar, too!).

Janelle and Jamie! What a truly beautiful day for you both! It was such a treat to get to document your love for one another and the joy that surrounds you both. Here’s to a future full of endless stunning sunsets, laughter in abundance, and plenty of Griz wins for you to celebrate! :)
