Sweet and Sincere. Two words that describe Mike and Emily’s wedding in Conrad, Montana to a tee.

Emily and Mike ventured to Montana for their wedding day all the way from Tennessee. Emily is originally from South Carolina, but spent many a summer in Conrad at her aunt and uncle’s farm. More recently, Mike proposed to her there, so it was meant to be to have their wedding celebration at the farm in Conrad.

The day couldn’t have been more beautiful. Gray clouds streaked the sky, and left more than a few of us wondering if we might have a bit of a wet ceremony, but lo and behold! the sun peeped out just as Mike walked down the aisle to live music played by Emily’s cousin John.

Guests dined on a delicious dinner made by the Emily and Mike’s family, and sipped their drinks from charming mason jars as they mingled, played horseshoes, and enjoyed an array of pies for dessert.

Dancing moved into the barn on the property, which was specially decorated with a brand made specifically for Emily and Mike.

The rain held off until folks were inside dancing, and even then, brave kiddos dashed through the raindrops, laughing and playing and getting more than a bit soaking wet.

Whilst little boys begged to be “roped” outside, the dancing continued inside, laughter bouncing off the rafters as friends and family showed off their moves.

Emily and Mike – I’ve got to say – your wedding was just SO wonderful, SO beautiful and a complete joy to photograph. Thank you, thank you, thank you for welcoming me into your special day! Congratulations to you both!
