Brilliant Autumn Days :: {Hugh’s Missoula Senior Pictures}

If you’ve been following my work or my blog for a while, you know that I adore color. Love it. Wholeheartedly. And when Hugh showed up for his autumn Missoula senior pictures looking seriously stylish and completely on par with all the gorgeous colors around, I got a little giddy. (I mean, his orange pants! Absolute perfection!)

We had a great time walking around and making the most of all the awesome color we had to work with, and also chatted a bit too. Hugh really loves to snowboard, and has been doing so for a while. He also enjoys learning about history and thinks that after graduation he’d like to pursue either a career in welding or engineering.

So Hugh! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Here’s to exploring both fields and finding the one that fits you to a tee. The journey to finding what you want to do can definitely be a fun one – and when you discover what that is, it gets even better from there. I can speak from experience. :) So, good luck in your future endeavors and keep rocking those colors!

Downtown Walkabout – {Dustin’s Senior Photos}

Dustin, a 2014 senior at Hellgate High School in Missoula, first contacted me to do his senior pictures after hearing from his sister Ashley that he should check out my work. (Thanks Ashley!) Funny enough, Ashley was one of my students in my photojournalism class I taught at the University of Montana’s Journalism School this past spring semester. So it was a treat to meet Dustin and get to work with him as well.

We had a great time wandering around downtown and Dustin told me he loves hanging out with friends, soaking up warm weather (he grew up in California), and has plans to attend the University of Montana to pursue a degree in education that focuses on working with students with disabilities.

Dustin, here’s to a great senior year for you! You’ve got a fantastic attitude towards life and your goals, so I can tell you’ll do great things after high school. :)
