Originally I was set to document Brayden’s first birthday – but then, you know – pandemic times<\/em>. So our session got pushed back some until we could safely be outdoors with one another. And even though these images weren’t made exactly at Brayden’s one-year milestone, I’d still say that the\u00a0Simons’ family’s summer family photos are still a pretty great milestone for everyone involved!<\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, Brayden has changed so much since I made his newborn photos<\/a>! (A lot happens in one year!) He’s got such a stellar little personality – he’s all smiles and waves and giggles, and boy does he love his entire fam – especially his big brothers!<\/p>\n

We had a great time tromping through the grass, chasing after the perfect photo spots, losing shoes here and there, giving Daisy the dog all sorts of love, laughing as everyone demonstrated their best slow-motion walk, and really just having a blast hanging out together (in a socially-distanced way, of course). (We’ll never take for granted our social interactions after all of this is over, right?!)<\/p>\n

Brayden especially enjoyed chowing down on his mom’s necklace, laughing while doing so, testing the stretchiness of Daisy’s ears (I can confirm, they’re stretchy and Daisy is the sweetest!), getting to fly high in the sky thanks to expert Dad-fly-mode, and tickling his older brothers to get them to crack up.<\/p>\n

As per usual, Simons family, you are such a delight to photograph and spend time with! Thank you again for all of your patience in this bizarro-world we’re in currently, for your beautiful, positive outlook, and for the joy you bring to every session we get to document together! Can’t wait for your next one! :) Here’s to you all!<\/p>\n
