I was giddy upon hearing from Daisy and Erik that they wanted to do another photo session with me while they were in town visiting from North Carolina – this time with their adorable little toddler, Woody! I was so excited to be seeing and photographing them again (I photographed their lovely wedding day<\/a> a couple years ago), AND to be meeting their cuter-than-a-bug-in-a-rug little boy.<\/p>\n

Oh. My. Gosh. We had a blast. Woody was such a champ, and he showed us the fine art of tossing rocks into the river, reminded us of the simple pleasure of feeling sand sift through your fingertips, and treated us all to the absolute effervescence of deep-down, belly-laugh giggling after “racing” each other down pathways. Oh, life seen through the eyes of a toddler is pretty dang awesome.<\/p>\n

Thank you again, Daisy, Erik, and Woody, for having me photograph your wonderfully fun session. It was so cool to see you in your new role as parents – one, I might add, that fits you both really, really well. You two are such a good mama and papa. :) Here’s to an abundance of toddler giggles!<\/p>\n
