If you’re a photographer, have you ever wondered what gear other professionals use and what actually works? I know something like this would have been beneficial to me when I was just starting out since it can be a bit of a daunting world out there in terms of just the sheer amount of gear from which to choose. So I thought it would be handy to share my favorite photo gear<\/a> for wedding, portrait and editorial freelance photographers that really helps me get the job done.\u00a0From lenses to camera bodies to computer equipment, it’ll be on that list.<\/p>\n

I’m all about using gear that helps, not hinders, especially in regard to ergonomics, so you’ll also see that much of what I use is built to put the least amount of stress on your body as possible. I know that when I’m old I don’t want to regret not treating my body well while I was working, and being photographer can sometimes be pretty physically rough on a person.<\/p>\n

Even if you’re not a photographer, you might find some useful\u00a0items on my gear page<\/a> – I also recommend AA batteries that I think are awesome, data backup services that everyone should be using, no matter their occupation (no one should have to worry about losing their data!), and even a desk that I think is the bees knees.<\/p>\n
